Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia she is an Spanish singer from flamenco. As a teenager she sang both in traditional and popular music. But, her music interests have widened to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and famous musician has described the voice of the new artist as sweet and sharp but with bite. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success making it to the top of the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately getting an Grammy. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. Motomami is her 3rd full-length album. It featured songs written in collaboration with other performers and producers like Cory Henry. The release came in March 2022 following a performance of the single Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to have performed solo on the show. Motomami the album by Rosalia that has won three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female singer to receive an award for Latin Album of the Year award twice.
